in 1997 I quit the rat race, moved to Big Sur. AAAAAAHHHHH. After three years of decompression on the coast, I moved back to the San Francisco Bay Area with a whole new outlook on life and career. Things were in full swing again until March 3, 2005 the C-bomb dropped on my doorstep (or my left boob to be more specific).
